Forget the name, this is a cracking little Shiraz. Fully mature, with a lovely mouth coating texture, this is full of red berry fruit, eucalyptus and boot polish. Lovely balance. Yum.

# 379 this is not a reserve. An outstanding wine at great price. Smooth, rich and easy to drink. Red berries, spice and licorice.

Ok, drinkable, but flat finish. Not good alone. Might be ok with food. We'll stick with their cab-shiraz or cab-merlot blends.

Odd. Crushed violets, Sulphur, and burnt grape jelly.

Almost as good as the 2003 Premium Cabernet. Has a slight woody finish after a glass or two, though. But amazing chocolate box texture and intense nose and palette. Can't get enough.

Yellow Tail, one of the world's most admired wine brands, hehe... dark ruby colour. strange black fruits in nose, tannin: medium, acidity: medium(+), alcohol: medium(+), sweet: light, a little fruity and bitter, strong pepper. no balance at all, spicy finish. not my cup of tea. colour: 3/5; aroma: 11/15; palate: 11/20; overall: 2+0/10 TOTAL: 77/100

Strong aroma of spiced fruit, milk chocolate and eucalyptus with tobacco and an herbal/floral component coming through after some time. The spiced fruit and chocolate come through on the palate as well with hints of the other flavors here and there. Pretty long finish. Sweeter than I prefer but that's why so many people love it.

Surprisingly, not bad for the price. A little sweeter than I'd like and a bit bitter at the finish, but overall not so bad. Nice color and fruity nose.

Smooth and spicy. An inexpensive, average table wine.

A bit of fruit in the nose. A good basic bottle, but nothing special.

Bottle 2 was very similar to bottle 1 but consumed a couple of months later. A good Shiraz but nothing special. I'll drink if its offered but I hope to find better similar cost Shiraz for my own cellar

Hadn't had any yellow tail in ages and was surprised to see they now have NV. This bottle wasn't too bad. Lots of purple color and medium light body. Nos of berries and taste with berries and fruit. A bit weet with a short but nice finsih. It was better than several $20 shiraz I have had. I won't buy it but if it is served at a local party its ok for a party wine.

In all honesty for a $6.00 wine---it was pretty good. Went well with spicy soup.

Sold by grocery store past its drinkable date. Not drinkable. No fruit, just harsh chemical bite that would have made me sick if consumed.

Nice little wine -- great flavor, nice mouthfeel and good match for pasta dish we had for dinner.

Jammy, sweet, and choc full of vanilla. Is it me or do all Yellow Tail vintages, varieties, and blends taste alike?

Not very good. Very jammy wine, poor construction. Left me with heartburn. Would never buy again

Jammy, sweet, and somewhat hot. Insanely fruit-forward; no "opening up" necessary, although it did get a bit smoother and less hot after some time in the glass (which I felt was an improvement, albeit only a slight one). There was a slight hint of tannin, but it was overwhelmed by the sweetness. It left my mouth feeling sticky. Overall an easy and undemanding wine -- not great, but not bad either. I thought it was tastier, more flavorful, less hot, …
