Clare Valley Expo (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street) : Black cherry, earthy, blackberry, slightly jubey, creamy, slight vanilla. Dark hued fruit, oak is restrained, fresh, easy, smashable, exceedingly pleasant.

Pikes Masterclass with Jamie Pike (wine ark alexandria) : Medium minus intensity aromas of biscuit, toast, blue berry; smells quite 'soft'…equally soft on the palate - with plump berried fruit, fine tannins; silky in fact. Very, very light weight of a Clare valley shiraz - perhaps whole berry?
