Racy, smoky, and an especially good handling of the 2009 vintage (which can sometimes seem a little fat where white burgundies are concerned).

Not as good as usual. The nose was a bit muted, although it still came through with minerals, wet stone, and some citrus fruit. Had with Grapefruit risotto scallops. Good pairing. Good minerality on the palate.

A very nice entry level Chablis, though the slight oak treatment threw me off a bit.

More broad in style than the last bottle, this has a nose of honeysuckle, lemon and ample oak. The palate is awash with the same, as well as a languid honeyed flavor, though kept mostly in check by well integrated (if fading) acidity. Whereas I have found prior bottles of this well-balanced and complete, this is a little lopsided, lacking some of the more dry aromas and flavors (seashell, limestone, tart citrus fruit) that round out better Chablis. Still, good …

Pale lemon chiffon color. On the nose, this is a bipolar mix of heavy oak and unmistakable Chablisian minerality. However, the palate achieves more varied nuances with excellent concentration. This exhibits floral flavors of rosewater with a dry, stony cut halfway down the tongue, and finishes with a tart, lemony acidity. All the elements coexist in an energetic and vigorous balance. As far as Chablis goes, this achieves many of the high points of the best vineyards, providing a cogent …

Better than expected. Nice balance of oak and citrus. Paired well with grilled citrus swordfish dish.

Sort of pleasant, but not a lot of flavor. A bit of honey, maybe.

Nice Chablis, very solid and a good food wine. Good balance of fruit and minerality with enough acidity to keep it fresh. Would buy again. Solid value at $18

Still aromatically challenged. A shame. Also finding it a bit heavy on the palette tonight...seems in my experience to be atypical of Chablis. Blind tasting I might think it more Macon Villages level juice.

Goes better w/food than on its own...needs a little west coast fruit to add to the Chablis minerality and acid.

Pear, apple, lemon curd, body. Minerality on finish, namely slate, caps it off.

Pale straw in color, this wine is a home run for the $18. Green apple, spice, citrus, and white peach notes supported by nice acidity. Too bad I have to be subversive to open a bottle of white wine in my house...

Nice mouth-feel; really well-rounded, luscious wine. Bright and refreshing, perhaps some honeysuckle to go with the apple.

Popped and poured. What a splended bottle of chablis (I'm trying to be a more refined note writer!). A crisp and clean bottle of wine that was as refreshing as an after squash Perrier. The nose of unripe pear, apple, and specifically oyster shell reminded of the aromas I encounter sailing off the coast of Kennebunkport where I summer. This is precisely the perfect wine for many a lobster bake I've had on the beach with Chip and Muffy (Shhh, …

Typé Chablis et vif. Très grande minéralité (le silex) mais droit et pas mince du tout pour un générique.

Yellow gold. Open for business right away. Medium bodied Chablis. Fruit forward with some apple and pear and honey on the attack. Not quite creamy in texture, but certainly round. Fleshy and tart on the mid palate, drinking like a heftier version of Chardonnay. Dried herbs accentuate the finish. Good components, will be interesting to check back in with more bottle age.

Very enjoyable, tasted like a Chablis at a reasonable price. Flavors faded a bit over several hours.
