Paglierino carico non limpidissimo. Naso inizia con volatile leggera, poi si pulisce su note di nespola, buccia lime, roccia bianca e pepe bianco. Bocca inizia con un filo di carbonica che svanisce subito, frutta, fresco, salino e lungo. Nel bicchiere resta per 2 ore e spinge sempre... grand vino.

Bürklin-Wolf Tasting with Nicola Libelli (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany) : No notes taken, just from my memory. Beautiful and very interesting Chardonnay. Noticeable and fine oak meets an interesting stingy and fresh citrus core. Great contrast. Lots of mineral notes, nice structure, long finish. 92-93

Robe jaune d'intensité moyennement pâle Nez précis ouvert, très délicat d'intensité moyenne - de fleur blanche, citron sésame grillé, allumette craquée, pétard. Un certaine similitude avec certaines cuvées de chez Vincent Dancer. Bouche harmonieuse à l'acidité moyenne. Avec une tension plus marquée, cette cuvée aurait été selon mes gouts somptueuse. Vin au profil plus bourguignon (digne d'un beau 1er cru) que Jurassien.

It‘s medium-full bodied, with bracing high acidity, excellent mid-palate and very good persistence. Long finish with plenty of complexity. A superb wine full of character. Wow.

Good lord this was fantastic. Deep yellow color. Nose shows briny, green olive, natty goodness, but also it opens up to show complex floral, savory tones. Precise and intense on the palate, rushing and thrilling in a downhill rapids into the ocean kind of feel here. Lemon peel, orange peel, apricot fruit, with shaved ginger, oyster shell, minerals and olive brine. Beautiful stuff that I'd love to revisit in three or five years.
