I don’t get where the naming of this comes from: label says garnacha,cariñena, monastrell, rather than the Spanish/French/Australian bastardization here High acidity, raspberry, loganberry, rhubarb, tannins good fora few years yet

Aerated for about 1 1/2 hours, served in a Spiegelau Definition Bordeaux Glass. Slightly translucent ruby colour. Nose: Notes of raspberry, tart cherry and some hints of rosebud appear at first. Soon after, the wine then shows nuances of wet granite, pink pepper, sweet paprika powder and wet leaves. Towards the end, notes of liquorice and black tea become more dominant. Palate: Raspberry and rosebud come through at first, soon after notes of wet stone and dried herbs as well …

Fairly heavy oak and cherry

Meh. Don't get the high scores. Not for me.

Appearance: medium ruby Nose: cherries, raspberry, red fruit Palate: dry, medium tannin, medium+ acidity, medium body, 13% ABV, medium+ finish. Cranberry, red fruit forward Conclusions: PnP cellar temp. Nose is red fruit, earthy character. Supple tannins, lively acidity. Palate is dry, cherries, cranberry, some lingering spice. Medium+ finish. Somewhat hollow, however a fun wine. Very good
