Brought by a friend to lunch. Super high acidity and minerality. Fresh tart apples, pear and stone fruit along with white flowers and light herbal and tropical fruit note on the finish. Really nice!

An excellent everyday Riesling sourced from ungrafted 75 plus year old vines on blue slate. A zippy Riesling that is easy to get along with, a middle child of a wine. A producer that I need to try more of their wines, especially their wine produced from vines planted in 1900, Alfer Hölle.

Solid Mosel trocken but not inspirational like wines from Loosen. Paid $20. I like other producers more.

Lemon, peach, beautiful tingling acidity, driving minerality, and even some very fine tannin. Opens up considerably over 3 hours. Similar to a BdB grower champagne. I wouldn’t say this is spectacular, but I would argue you’d be hard press to find someone who didn’t find this very enjoyable.

Brought by a friend and tasted over 6 hours. This is a nice light golden yellow color. Nose shows some petrol initially but that goes away after the first 30 minutes or so, also has light white florals and a mix of stone fruit. Palate evolved a lot over time showing layers of delicious stone fruit, tropical fruit and yellow apple. It has moderate mineral undertones and bracing acidity. This is a wine for the cellar as I suspect it …

Pretty nose yielding yellow stone fruit, ripe tropical undertones, and an accent of young ginger. Zippy acidity presents round rather than sharp, and the overall mouth feel is clean and refreshing. Palate is true to the nose, and the lush fruit finishes with a touch of yellow citrus. Outstanding young trocken bottling, and top tier qpr.
