Opens up beautifully and quickly. Moderate to consistent fruit to the end. Light herb and tobacco hints with gorgeous finish.

Leather, graphite and hints of dark fruit on the nose; medium, not overly long finish...some tannins present but is close to its downside; very ripe fruit to prune, tabacco, pencil shavings with smoke hangover. Improved considerably after one to two hours in the decanter. This wasn't well-paired with our meal (ham, sweet potatoes and asparagus along with other wines at the table -- two 2006 Napa cabernets ( Burgess and Silverado). We snuck this Bordeaux in at the tail end of a brunello-tasting dinner and despite it's late arrival it scored among the best. Light and fruity compared with the Brunellos and many Bordeaux, it was a crowd pleaser none-the-less.

Nice bordeaux blend: Fruit was a bit overpowered by tannins and not particularly complex but it paired well with braised lamb chops. An excellent value at about $18.00.

A quick nose with strong cherry and tobacco flavors up front on the palatte. A very smooth finish with hints of pepper, medium tannins and moderate acidity. Great legs on this deep black cherry/claret colored wine with a very subtle smell of chocolate. Just the beginning hint of sediment at the end of the bottle.

Dark chocolate, vanilla and cocoa on the palate with a smooth lingering finish.
