Was pleasantly surprised. Decanted it before having. Was worried based on how long we had it but was very smooth and light.

Very sweet for my tastes these days but structurally it's fine. Paired it with Eggplant Cannelloni and Romesco Sauce. Spicy food so it went well.

This is a perfect summer wine. The dominant note was apricot, it is light. Tannins well integrated, really a please to drink. I wish I'd bought more.

Vanilla and cherry are prominent on the nose with hints of blueberry and orange. Simple and light with vanilla on the palate and pleasantly easy to drink. Light to medium tannins and a medium vanilla finish. This is uncomplicated wine, lighter and less tannic than typical sagrantino....but very pleasantly so. Drink immediately upon opening. Fruity simple wine with grape jam on the nose and palate with a hint of plum on the finish. Minimal tannins or structure. Decent for sipping.
