Enzo Boglietti Barolo Brunate

Mushrooms, truffles. Salty. Some sweat cherries and roses. Refined tannins. Didn’t mature in last 3 years. Can drink/keep for more mature notes (however probably better to drink now and not to age for many years)

Still enjoyable but more acidic than the last bottle. Will save the last one for 5+ years.

Advanced for a 13 yr old Barolo, likely bc of the warm year, but not a bad thing! Tannins are certainly present but are well balanced. Nice cherry flavor with leather, tar and pencil. The secondary barolo flavors are certainly there. This will continue to evolve the next 5 years or so but is a good mix of primary and secondary now.

Bouquet with some plums, violets and coffee. Not very complex and in a good drinking window right now. The rather warm vintage shows and you should drink it over the next 5-10 years.
