Domaine Michel Juillot Mercurey

Listed value as zero, or as close as CellarTracker permits. Three bottles of 2000 Mercurey were included with a half case of 2019 Mercurey (both from Michel Juillot), in an Acker Merrill auction. I expected nothing from them as well.

Not bad considering the strange uneven vintage and the length of time that has elapsed since this was bottled. Cork broke but extracted clean, the color of the wine is heading toward tanned leather, but there is fruit in the nose, spiced cherries, light on the palate, acids gone, tannins gone if there were any, medium finish.
