Good first entree wine at your dinner party. Nothing complex, just a mouthful of fruitiness and bam! It's gone. Consistent inexpensive Tempranillo.

Perfect when you don't have an hour to decant. Nice dark fruit with a short, not unpleasant finish. Very drinkable.

Clear ruby core of medium intensity out to a purple edge. Clean nose of sweat socks (a good thing), cherry, spice, forest floor and herbs (almost a bit of garrigue) of medium intensity. Dry with medium plus acidity, medium body, and soft tannins with medium plus alcohol (14%?). Medium intense flavours of cherry, strawberry and herbs with a saline and savoury edge. The finish is medium in length with the savoury elements continuing along with a slight bitter touch. Well …

color: light-to-medium purple; nose: alcohol and oak; taste: thin-to-medium mouth feel, tangy berry taste, spicy-chalky medium-length finish with tasty tannins; overall: decent-tasting Old World package at a very good price ($8.50 on sale) that is not quite fruity enough on its own for my palate -- but I bet it would pair well with pizza or sausage with pasta. It's worth trying as a value-priced weeknight wine.

Big and jammy with 14.5% alc., lots of blackberry, vanilllin oak, and a plush mouthfeel.

Very pleasant. Not much aroma but taste is very mellow. Not overpowering.

An earthy aroma. Taste starts out fruity and sweeti but finishes smooth and earthy.

Nice balance of Garnacha & Tempranillo. Nice earthy tones with decent cherry like fruit. Nice cheap wine for Grenache lovers.
