Blancaneaux is an unusual sight in California - a Rhône-inspired white blend of Viognier, Roussanne and Marsanne. The 2023 edition is very well executed, with no overt winemaking distracting from the fruit. The nose is expressive, showing stone fruit, white flowers and a touch of almond. On the palate it's rounded and textured, with enough structure from acidity and subtle phenolics to frame the richness, while remaining fresh and easy to drink.
