코를 갖다 대면 빵 굽는 냄새가 진동을 한다. 와인 1도 모르는 사람이 맡아도 "아, 이게 이스티함이구나" 하고 무릎을 탁 칠 정도다. 빵순이들이라면 환장할 향이다. 뒤이어 은은한 오크 향이 올라오는데, 이게 진짜 오크 숙성 때문인지 아니면 아까 그 이스트 향이 너무 좋아서 착각하는 건지 헷갈릴 정도로 묘하다. 다 마실 때쯤엔 꿀 향까지 올라와서 복합미가 상당하다. 향만 놓고 보면 아주 매력적인 친구다. 입에서는 향에 비해 살짝 아쉬웠다. 처음에 쓴맛이 꽤 지배적으로 치고 올라온다. 아마 내 칠링이 부족했던 탓도 있는 것 같다. 이 …

88-89 points. This is the one without a foil or the metal bottle shell. My expectations were not high with this Costco purchase but it ended up being quite nice Champagne. Flavors included red apples and a slight toasty note. On the drier side with a crisp finish.

Now the Brut Nature in the crazy packaging. The copper cage and still 100% recyclable. And that is definately brut nature. Crispy fresh.

Floral and yeast notes on the nose give way to crisp Fruit flavors of citrus and apple. Pinot Noir provides the firm body and structure. Great balance between the fruit and acid keeps this zero dosage Champagne from being overly dry.

This had a very interesting nose, kind of bright, sour plum, juicy high acid, with an earthy-dirty clay minerality. Seemed sort of like a Pinot Meunier style but it's 50/50 chard and PN. Not very elegant, thought this was a very good Cava (blind). Bottle is super gaudy. Blair's w/Hiro & friends
