Started out very fruity and even sweetish, but after vigorous double decanting and some time developed more complexity. Lush, generous, bright, with loads of dark fruit. It felt like the wine actually adjusted to compliment our meal of grilled steak, garlicky greens, and sautéed wild mushrooms.
