Came home from a trip where we drank a lot of wine, told myself we would not finish the bottle in one night. Guess what? Powerless in the face of unpretentious, delicious red table wine. I don't know that any one grape came through in this melange of Italian varieties, but the overall result was a juicy, nicely balanced, adequately acidic wine to go with our simple pasta dish.

Big red and black fruits - strawberry and blueberry pie. Palate tastes remarkably Italian, interesting given this winery. I love the crushed stone and earthy wet forest mineralty in the wine. Highly recommended.
