Ettore Germano Barolo Riserva Lazzarito

Drunk at a restaurant in Serralunga, then finished at home two days later. From memory. Tight nose, but showing fine complexity, with a classic mix of floral (rose) and deeper, earthy and tarry notes. The palate is dense, powerful, earthy and beefy, with balancing acidity and overall in a wonderful balance. Very silky, with still grippy, but ripe tannins. Drinking very well now. I look forward to tasting this in 5-10 years again.
