BIVB Burgundy Seminar (Suntec City, Singapore) : Alluring red-fruited nose leads to a pure and balanced palate with fresh acidity and lovely fruits. Not as austere as I expected from an Aloxe. An elegant and perhaps gentle, feminine wine with a decent finish. Lovely and definitely an impressive little wine. A wine of grace. The 2008 vintage at its best.

Buisson, Day 1 : 2008 Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru Volozières—Some real barnyard on this one. Zingy acidity and very tight tannins. Out of balance even with a thicker texture than the others. I don’t buy Aloxe.
