Consistent, very good. No savory this time, instead very fresh, with quite vivid, pure soil/place notes. A touch of forest floor by the second glass. Went really well with a simple mushroom polenta. No sign of fading; thru 2023+. 13,5% abv., DIAM. recommended+ http://www.italianwine.blog

nearly finished with two cases (release). Still a lovely wine. Has taken on the lightest, almost artful, savory touch. Love it, and a great food wine. recommended http://www.italianwine.blog

Nearing the end of my two cases purchased on release. To my palate, this is in a great place, with no sign of imminent decline. Med+ body, with a subtle savory, and more pronounced notes of citrus and soil notes. 13,5% abv. drink thru 2023. Elegant, poignant. recommended+ http://www.italianwine.blog

To be fair, I think I shouldnt be drinking roses. Even as bubbly. It is a drink and not a wine to me (i know how it sounds). Having said that, this is better than most I have tried. So, on a hot day, BBQ, or eating Asian, this is probably the best choice. But for that a good village burgundy chilled would do much better for me. My rating is highly subjective, of course.

consistently good. Elegant, harmonious, and mature, which is to say its initial acidic verve has evolved, been tamed, if you will. Paired nicely with Thai food; the low abv is most welcome. Will hold at this level for a few more years. Can't wait to start dipping into the 19s in a few more months. recommended https://www.ItalianWine.blog

Working my way through two cases. Recent bottles have been soft, almost delicate, with nice elegance. It's a good time to be drinking these; lovely Nebbiolo perfumes. https://www.ItalianWine.blog

PnP stored since release; making my way through 2 cases. Consistent with prior note, one month ago. This got some really lovely depth in hour two. "The bright blast of fruit this had on release has been replaced with more soil notes underlying a watermelon and cherry core. The palate is in fine shape, its acidic edges having been blunted by bottle rest. Still, the finish is long, and, for a rosato, caressing. I've got about 10 left that I'll …

Consistent with previous bottles. Vibrant orange with more copper than salmon color, this rose wine reveals rhubarb, dark red cherry, anise and Mandarin orange on the nose. The mouth feel brought very bright acidity with added elements of anise, spearmint and dark red fruits including pomegranate. The finish was complex with additional notes of vanilla, kiwi, thyme and more orange rind/zest. 13.5% abv. Purchased for $20US, this is an amazingly complex rose' from a quality producer. 87-88 Not your average ros. Nebbiolo and Vespolina from a brilliant producer in Lessona, Alto Piemonte. Went well with asparagus risotto👌 Nosel: Perfumed smashed wild strawberries, watermelon sweets. Pal: Iron mineral tang, ripe but tart raspberries, cranberry skin, lovely tension (nebbi tannins coming through a little, but would like more). Med acidity (less than expected), and a touch of (unnecessary imo) sweetness (didn't expect this, looked up and its 5 g/l!). Fin: Granitic, dried strawberries.

Not necessarily a charming rose, but it has tons of substance and is delicious. After the '17 last year which was borderline too salty (or even a bit tannic), the '18 seems to be drinking better already. It is still a rose to drink a bit more slowly than your average example. Cheek puckering and mouth-watering and will leave you feeling like you rolled around a pebble in your mouth. I think this goes better with bolder flavors, given the …
