Tosone Terre Siciliane Invecchiato in Barrique

(continued from my previous note) Waiting has payed off the wine has rounded up quite a bit. The fruit is still there, so is chocolate and vanilla but now there are spices popping up making it way more interesting. I think the wine is in its prime time

Dark purple color, full aroma or dark fruits, confit, spices, chocolate and vanilla. Long finish. I will wait before opening the other bottles as I think it could improve with time.

Deeper ruby than some Nero d’avolas.. full aroma of chocolate pepper and blackberry. Really full and rounded on the palate with long flavours And noticeable smokey oak with still the characteristic “mineral” notes of the oceans and good acidity alongside. Great value. Intriguing.
