Less expressive than previous bottle. Butter, peaches. Didn’t have time to shine, overshadowed by the Vilmart 2006 Coeur de Cuvee and Substance drank before and after.

Tasted for memory, this wine combined freshness with depth - and a long finish. Fine, wet stone aspects combined with citrus and white pear. It paired well with pre-dinner spanakopita that I served. Considering its age : neither youthful nor old, it’s in a very good spot now.

Popped and poured over a few hours. Great from the get go, butter, hazelnut, honeycomb, later ripe peaches and cream with the minerality of the terroir coming through. Good but not ideal pairing with geschnezeltes. Better before and after.

PNP. Last bottle of a 6 pack that was $59 on release. Deep yellow color. Lemon honey, orchard fruit and juniper spice on the airy nose. Viscous palate, mouth coating and loaded with lemon and white peach flavor. Starting to show some age, still very enjoyable but just a little flat on the finish.

Having tasted Bouchard's Corton Charlemagne's from 2005 and 2009, the 2002 Meursault-Genevrières and their 1995 Chevalier Montrachet in the last six months, I haven't been able to stop raving about Bouchard's whites with proper maturity. Complex aromatics of white peach, mint, pineapple and almond butter. It is deep and rich, but beautifully balanced and precise. It has great shape and weight and is very long, with plenty of saline mineral freshness.

PNP. Beautiful nose, lemon, flint and spice. Deep and expansive palate, rich and ripe with a mineral driven texture and a juicy, long finish. Abit of heat on the finish. 5th of a 6 pack, these have all been outstanding and are getting better with age. Another success story for the diam cork.

Truly a treat. Expectations can lead to much disappointment, even in ourselves but this bottle is stellar. Fresh in the nose and on the palette, flavours are very integrated. Nothing sticking out. Lemon, kiwi and cold cucumber. Very long finish, lingering still as I write this. It is the outside of my theoretical “serve by date” for the appellation but showing great.

Really good bottle of Meursault Perrieres. One of the best that I've had. This was neck in neck with the 2010 Bouchard CC next to it, although that edged this out. Great acidity and florality. Didn't really show the 14% abv.

2010 #lesperrieres what a stunner a little citrus, blossom, faint hint of spiced oak on the nose that opened up with more white flowers as the evening progressed. Mid jasmine yellow the aromas are enticing with mineral, baked apple, spiced pear and pepper. The entry is quite mineral with a pear skin texture, fairly generous at 14% but supported by crisp saline-edged acidity. Apples join pears and brine, there is a fleshy texture whilst the long finish does have a feel of heat from the alcohol. Diam for the win, as this is in beautiful, very youthful shape; the nose shows a bit more oak than fruit, though that’s not as much the case on the palate, where the excellent depth of perfectly ripe stone fruit is strong enough to compete with the oak. Popped and poured, diam cork. Medium yellow color, thankfully no premox. Lemon chiffon, spice, some flinty minerals and orchard fruit on the nose. Deep, rich palate, showing lemon and almond paste. Medium intensity and medium finish. I really like this, it is reasonably chiseled for a 2010, and appears built to last.

Tasted blind and have to say an impressive bottle. The nose was textbook burg, buttery, soft oaky chardonnay, citrus, lemons. On the palate it was firm and bright and actually Andreas who tasted it blind went for a 5yr old wine. Still bright and energetic and should this had the textbook flint and lime edge could have been a oaked young Chablis. Impressive and well mannered and a good 91.

probably a little past it.... plenty of rich honey and butter on the palate, a little short. I love Bouchard's whites in general, but they never seem to make a really good Perrieres.

Definitely good to be drinking this wine but still a very solid expression and great value and does not seem to be fading. Consistent (gladly) with a bottle we had about a month ago if not better, good evolution but still bright on the fruit, well assimilated oak, round and very welcoming wine. Solid 90-91

Its time to drink these up albeit the wine is ageing with grace. Still though with freshness gone this is in danger of becoming dull. Int heir youth they are very vibrant and solid but with age they can go a bit one dimensional. Floral edge on the nose, light oaky dynamic, good citrus touches. Well evolve don the palate but lacked a bit of length. Good 90 and drink sooner than later.

Germain Meursault 1er Perrieres 2010 Debut bottle from this producer for me. Heard good things. Quite a bright golden in colour. Complex nose. Touch of honey, salty and stoney. I like the flavour profile on the palate. Lots of tension and precision. Depth to the fruits but still quite taut. But this has more sweetness than say PYCM or Roulot.
