First time tasting the '98 after having the '90 BdB from Doquet a number of times. For the record, BdBs rarely seem to move me. Transparent yellow in the glass, streaming bubbles, with restrained aromas of yellow fruit, some toast and yeast. Brighter on the palate with similar fruit flavors, yeast, some wood, a hint of carmel and butterscotch.
