Interesting wine, cough drop flavor which quickly moves onto cherry. More fruit forward then complex. Hard to dislike.

Rich dark cherry fruit aromas. Has some grassiness/earth to the nose. Smoke all over the palate. And the car comes to a screeching halt. Should be better. 11m in French Oak.

Mass production flavors of cherry cough drop, red whip licorice, bell pepper and candied fruit. Oh, and alcoholic!

I was ready to write this one off on the first night (87), but on the second day it blossomed into a scrumptiously spicy, well-mannered, medium-plus-bodied Pinot Noir (90-91). As a matter of fact, the 1 oz left in the glass overnight was still rather tasty when sampled 20 hours later! 14.5% ABV

Initially sharp and medicinal, but this disappeared on the second night. Cherry with some residual sweetness on the palate. Nice enough, but not complex or distinctive.

Light ruby in color, this wine shows subtle candied cherry, raspberry, pomegranate as well as rose petals. The mouth feel is light bodied with soft tannins and more red fruit and subtle hints of oak. The finish is short and abrupt but still manages to bring out the acidity and red fruits. 14.5% abv. Purchased for $20US, this is an easy drinking offering that needs 15 minutes to breath after first opening. The initial taste of medicinal cough syrup quickly …

Aromatic oak to the nose. Not overly sweet-fruited to the nose. Dark cherry and raspberry fruit. Very robust palate, oak really comes to the front here.
