Surprised tonight drinking this wine. I had it years ago when I just bought it but I was so unimpressed that I cooked with the rest of the bottle. I picked it up tonight out of curiosity. It tastes really good! Chewy, creamy, balanced, chocolaty with a nice finish that left me tasting for a while. I’m glad I have a couple more bottles. Will definitely drink this year.

Purplish ruby color. Smells like blue and black fruits, saline, graphite, and chalky mineral. Light to medium body, medium (+) acid, medium finish, and flavors of dark fruits, lemon, orange, and minerals. Had with pizza; was fine.

Well, compared to my last bottle, this bottle is somewhat better. Not sure if its bottle variation or time? The color is dark, nice aroma; some sweet fruit, but still acidic & tart; definitely an improvement, but still not great.

No fruit left.. Not sure what has happened with this wine, but not pleasant at this point. Structure seems to be present, but just experience the acidity in the wine. Tannis are present, but not over powering. Disappointed..

Feels hollow. Acid and tannin, no fruit. Maybe used to be ok. But not now.

I like this. Third bottle and have improved over the past year. Grenache - Syrah blend 50/50. Taste the cherry I associate with syrah, some strawberry raspberry. Great balance. Tannins integrated. Black pepper and maybe clove. Nice long finish. Pretty heavy sediment in bottle.

Good QPR. Better after an hour of air. Needs another year in the cellar

Flabby and clumsy in comparison to the Jacumin CdR tasted alongside it. Still, not too bad.

Decent basic Cotes du Rhône. Better after open for an hour or so. Could probably use a year or two more of aging.
