This was great. Decanted for about an hour in a wide-bottomed decanter. Great balance of vibrant, juicy fruit and solid body.

Pretty good, used for the cab brisket (never top shelf but never shwag) a bit of a spendy wine to cook with but might be the reason its the best brisket I have made. The ladies (Nicole/Rose) seemed to like it

Initial nose gives off some serious heat but with some glass time is settles down nicely to some dark fruit and earth tones. Color is opaque ruby, considering the varietals I would have guessed something darker. Flavors are somewhat vegetal, I also get some slightly salty notes, fruit is there but hard to put a finger on; I'd say bing/black cherry, plum.
