Fulcrum Pinot Noir On Point Sonoma Coast

Consistent with my prior notes. Excellent ripe and juicy blackberry and dark cherry fruit. Some spice underlying. This is a showy and fruit-focused Pinot from a great vineyard source. So easy to drink and enjoy and a good value at this price point. I ran through my inventory of this one very quickly!

One of my historical go-to Pinots. The combination of this great vineyard source, voluptuous dark fruit and the winemaking prowess at Fulcrum have always combined to make this an enjoyable, easy to drink and fun experience. Definitely a fruit-driven Pinot that is pleasing to the palate from beginning to end. Nice mouthfeel and a freshness and vibrancy I appreciate. I drink these young, hell I drink most everything young. No guilt here as it is accessible and satisfying.

Extremely enjoyable Pinot Noir with fruit from Gap’s Crown, which is one of the iconic Sonoma vineyard sources. This offers dark, ripe fruit with blackberry and black plum notes. Seamless on the palate and easy to enjoy. Consistent with past vintages from this producer who always does a wonderful job with this fruit.

Likely popped this one open a bit early, but enjoyed it in any case. Winemakers choice of an assortment of vineyard sources and Pinot. Presents well at a solid QPR with dar fruit on a medium frame. Some spice notes and some initial tartness, but opened nicely in the glass.
