Not robust, bit boring

Basic spicy zin, but not too spicy. Cherry and possibly other berry fruits. A great "daily drinker" red wine when properly paired with the right meal. QPR based recommendation as a daily drinker, but save something more distinctive for the weekend or a nice meal!

No super-formal notes. Nose had a vegetal (green bean) overtone that detracted from some of the pleasant aromas of jammy fruit. Cherry candy dominates on the palate, which makes it a bit awkward on its own. Lacking acid, but fine, medium-intensity tannins provide adequate structure. Paired surprisingly well with braised BBQ pork chops. Not a rebuy for us. "Good," 84/100.
