Rockpool 1989 Bar : Lemon, lime, apple and yeast. Palate is bright with cleansing acidity. Doesn't have huge fruit depth but it does still provide pleasure to drink.

Tasted at the Cellar Door 18 Jan 2015: Heady nose of strawberries, cherries and rose water. Chardonnay dominant though, and this tells on the palate, with dominant green apple flavours. Lees contact is pretty subtle, which is a pity as I think the wine is a bit lean without that richness.

Tasted at the Cellar Door 18 Jan 2015: Yeast / bready notes on the nose. Quite acidic palate - kaffir lime, green apple mainly. Shortish length. Aperitif style. Doesn't win me over.
