Daniel Jarry Vouvray Moelleux

From 75cl, excellent cork, of course stained at wine end, but for a 60-y.o. wine: wow! Gentle honeyed Vouvray, clearly fully mature, but with all the supple pure-rainwater-textured virtues of gentle sweetness, acidic verve and fresh grape infusion you could wish for. Not the most imposing or concentrated mature Chenin Blanc I have tasted, but a highly refined companion as an aperitif and for a range of cheeses this evening. 90P
