Good colour. Not a wine to assess immediately after opening when it showed too much volatile acidity. However, given an hour, the palate softened and showed plenty of sweet dark berry fruit (mainly blackberries, dark cherries) with spice and gentle tannins. Not a very complex wine but a pleasant drink with good balance and fair length. 87-88
