I think Phredd's note hit the nail on the head for this wine. Seepage in the cork, melon and rubber nose, almond and herb flavors, creamy body, medium finish.

NC Cindy Tasting. Nice dark straw or light amber color on this reasonably viscous wine. The nose is tremendously complex and interesting, with a good deal of melon and a certain not-unpleasant rubbery overtone. There is a fair amount of sweetness on the nose, but with lots of dried apricots and a touch of unusual dark-and-light citrus, perhaps like a tangelo. Immensely drinkable. Pineapple, papaya, pear, peach and a striking granite stone minerality. I agree with coupe that there is a nice creaminess to this. Gorgeous wine and long finish. Love this

Good pairing with pesto pasta.

Faint nose of hay and toast. Stony fruit with minerals and a hard to describe fruit - unripe pear/green apple? Quick, clean, refreshing finish. Nice food wine.

First wine of the night was a winner. I was surprised by the deep golden yellow color. Full bodied and creamy...tropical fruit maybe peach and pear and a nice mouthfeel. Really liked this.

Beautifully complex, delicious and drinkable, with flavors of nuts and tangerines. Good acidity and length. After much grumbling about my opening a white wine, my non-wine geek wife ended up raving about it and drinking 3 glasses. Excellent wine!
