Ayres, Pinot Blanc, Willamette Valley

Always a favorite. Lovely nose with a palette of crisp mouthwatering Acidity. Lemon curd and Granny Smith Apple on the flavors with a hint of herbaceousness in the background.

Very pleasing, fruit forward with some lovely floral notes on the nose. A hint of tropical fruits on the finish but what really stands out is the wonderful viscosity across the palate. It paired very well with a bbq'd halibut fillet with a light sauce consisting of a bit of the wine whisked with butter and tarragon. We enjoyed our visit to the winery today. Probably should've purchased more of this but were too taken by the pinot noirs.
