[Ryan's Vinum Tasting 12/20/22] Tasted leaner and tighter than the Ramonet, but still very approachable. Lean stone fruit, citrus fruit and peel, meyer lemon, with some phenolic bitterness. Racy racy acid. Good, but a little austere for me right now. 89+

This Pours light straw in the glass. This shows light reduction and a lovely classic fruit profile. The nose is of white currant, peach blossom, struck match, flint, chalk, cold cream, and airy sea breeze. The palate enters on the gorgeous sweet fruit and turns to lovely chalky mineral notes along a finish that is impressively lengthy, lingering on the sea breeze and mineral notes. Considering it's level this is a tremendous bottle and I could see it ousting stiff …

Difficult to rate this one ... seems quite "fatty" to me ( but in a good way ). Guess too young at this stage, needs a bit more time to refine itself maybe ?

Bottle breathe for 1 hour. Similar note as last time. But this one is less powerful, and more flat in the palate.

PnP. Expressive aroma on the nose with white flower, a bit honey and citrus, the palate is somewhat powerful (but not full body), loads of fruit and nice acidity. Medium finishing. Amazing efforts for a Bourgogne, and very innovative design on the cork.

Cold at first , not much aromas. Nut, ripe fruits, pretty aromatic. Fresh entry, lean palate, some salinity and short finish.

Laurent Ponsot Cuverie Visit and Tasting (Gilly-les-Citeaux) : Tasting at Ponsot. Floral start with lemon, pear and some lemon zest. Leaner aromas, sweeter on palate with good weight for its level. Good balance with a simple finish, but still certainly good for its level. Good now.
