Dark ruby, black core, 13% abv. Rather restraint nose of black fruit, underbrush and cedar box on the nose. Dry, medium-medium(+) acidity, medium silky tannin and medium(+) body. Dark cherry, blueberry, bitter chocolate, leather. Well-defined hyper-enjoyable long, long finish. Complex, structured and powerful. Very good, classy! In the drinking window for another 5 years. Decant for at least 1 hr. Enjoyed it with a grilled tomahawk steak.

God kjøttfull saftige mørke bør, fint avslipte taniner og nedtonet balansert syre. Perfekt i glasset på en regnværsdag??

Not entirely sure on this one. Decanted for a good few hours and the wine was good, but not very complex. Waited a total of 12 hours in the decanter and it still was rather boring. Perhaps it is too young to be enjoyed properly.

(Half bottle note): Open from start, fruit a bit more "plummy" that I expeced it to be, but the complexity is very Bordeaux with a classic nose. OK length. Would have like to see a bit more red fruit, might be the bottle size and speed of development? That said, no rush drinking these. Tannins well integrated, good balance and body.

After reading such tepid reviews, this came as a very nice surprise. No, it isn't the wine of the century, but it's a lot better than many Lynch-Ms of the past. Cigars, cassis and plums on the nose, a creamy mouthful of blackcurrant, a decent finish, no asperity, no coarseness - for 23 euros, very good value. More enjoyable than the Marquis de Terme 05 tasted alongside it.

Dark purple/brown hue, soft dry aroma. Soft subtle first taste, hints of dry fruits. Followed by light tannins, ripe fruits with hint of earth and licorice. Quick finish, long linger tobacco and earth. Not bad but lighter bodied wine vs their earlier growth sisters.

Appearance: Bright and clear, the wine is of deep ruby colour, with fading rim and legs. Nose: Clean, with medium (+) intensity aromas of black fruit of blackberry, cassis and dark cherries, oak notes of cedar, pungent spice of pepper, animal notes of leather, mineral notes of earth, maturity notes of graphite. The wine is developing. Palate: Dry with medium acidity, medium (+) tannin of ripe and powdery texture, medium alcohol and medium (+) body, with medium (+) intensity flavours …

Colour is quite deep and dark here. On the nose it's the Cabernet speaking with beautiful cassis aromas, leather, green pepper and spices. The palate is rich, soft and balanced; I really like the classic, honest style here. Finish is quite long and spicy. Excellent, underrated and good value. Drinks perfectly now. 17/20

This is all about cliché right now; it wears the 2009 vintage on its sleeve, but it is also chock-full of classic Pauillac notes of graphite, cedar, black fruits, pencil shavings etc etc. There is a stony, mineral laden tang on the finish that works well against the richer fruit. Needs to sleep for a few years - right now it is still plump but time should be kind to this wine.

Emirates lounge in Dubai with the usual great wine selection. Open bottle from wine fridge, likely open for several hours. Drank this side by side with the 09 Beychevelle, and surprisingly the Lynch Moussas was the bigger wine with more fruit but also still a bit of oak showing. Can drink now but unlike the views below, I think this might show even better in 1-2 years. 91+

2h decant. Surprisingly good already, not sure if and when this will further improve given the weaker 2012 vintage and the light acidity. On the palate coffee, tobacco, blackberries and tannins, all very nicely integrated. I have 2 bottles of 2015 in my cellar, which I will not touch for the next few years.

Enofusión 2019; 1/28/2019-1/30/2019 (IFEMA - Madrid) : Fresh, full of thyme and rosemary aromas. With breadth and notes of butter bread and spices. It begins to open in the mouth with a dense texture that is complemented by a weak acidity that does not ensure a long life. Will see. Fresco, lleno de aromas a tomillo y romero. Con amplitud y notas de pan de mantequilla y especias. Comienza a abrirse en boca con una textura densa que se complementa …

Purple color with a bouquet and flavor of cassis and tobacco with quite good balance and a moderate finish. The best wine of the evening. Drunk on the fourth day of our Oceania cruise along the coast of Spain during a multicourse meal with assembled guests. Excellent food and congenial company in a beautiful setting. This wine was followed by a Sauternes, but I lost my focus and didn't rate it. It went well with the splendid baked Alaska.

It's rich, as this chateau typically is. A bit bigger, bolder than the vintage average, but I have no complaints. Clear oak, but well handled. Bodes well. {13%, cork}

The Union Des Grand Crus Tasting of the 2012 Vintage-SF. Nose of cedar, red cherry fruit, red currants, earthy like Sumatra coffee, more of the same on the palate, tasty, mouth filling, slightly fruit forward, touch simple compared to the nose, probably better in 2 years, medium body, long, flavorful finish.
