Good Color and clarity. The body weight is a little light for a cab. Soft mouth feel - Upfront to finish a nice berry flavors. Not complex, easy drinking.

Sickly and syrupy, this wine is an abomination. Expensive for its quality. Will keep unwelcome/undiscerning guests happy though. Bordeaux produces plenty of inexpensive cabernet far better than this bottle.

Has that harshness of Paso Robles cabernets I've had in the past (at least those in this price range). However, if given time to open up, it mellows some. This is decent bottle, not one I'd pursue, but not one I'd complain about unless I had higher expectations, and I didn't. Fine for the price. It might benefit from some cellaring.

Big dark fruit. Almost jammy. Medium-high alcohol. Medium tannins. Normally $14...I found this bottle in the clearance section of Ralph's for $5. Not my favorite Paso cab, but a decent one for the low price.

Would not buy again even at $8.99, just not coming together for me.

Meh. $13 bottle of wine. 2 glasses and pour the rest out and not feel bad. Disappears fast.

The Columbia Crest and Liberty School Cabernets are similar wines in terms of being nice every day drinks. Good quality for what I paid for them. Nothing complex, easy drinking, good body and clarity, will last a couple of years.

There doesn't seem to be much middle ground with this wine, one either likes it or hates it (i.e. 2013). As in the saying; each driver is accorded one-half of the road (I'll take my half in the middle if you please), I'll take the middle. Served @ 18c/65f with Roast Pork. Ruby Red in the glass, Fruit-forward on the nose & palate with notes of Cherry, Blackberry, and Black Currant. Medium-Bodied, and medium tart Finish, Prominent tannins/oaky/woodiness I find …

This is a perfect cab for mid-week consumption. Is it the best cab ever? No. It's perfect for what it is which is a relaxing solid glass of red. A darker red color. The nose is smoked paprika & slightly brunt carmel popcorn. Smooth, dry, dark berry juicy without being jammy. This wine had the slightest hint of sweet but was still guttural and tart enough. Short finish, lovely tannins, and well balanced & perfect for a night cap.

Crimson-black; cassis, plums, blackberries, earth; ripe berry/plummy, medium-full body, good acidity, firm ripe tannins, nice finish. Deeply coloured, tasty ripe fruit with some structure, good balance and finish. Not complex but well made. Why such low scores?

Bonne bouteille mais pourrait être plus "gouteux". J'ai hâte de comparer avec Zinfandel.

Boom! Let me give a Free Education about this Liberty School Cab... For 12 bucks, it's fantastic! For 20 bucks, I'd say it's fantastic. For 30 bucks, I'd say ... eh, I've had better. For 40 bucks, I'd say you might be corkscrewing me... But I digress. I was very, very pleasantly surprised with this Cab. I'm a big fan. I would go out of my way to suggest it to a friend. And, I would go out of my …

Everything you want in a Cali cab sauv. Crack and pour; great for a summer BBQ or a winter night in front of the fireplace. A cellar staple.

OK - a little muddy at first, then calmed down as it sat. Bright green grape/kiwi in the finish, odd.
