This bottle was a lovely French style Syrah. Fruit was large and elegant, showing blueberry and boysenberry. Front was all about the fruit; middle was smooth and subtle; finish was smooth tannin along with a revisit of the fruit. Everyone drank this wine way too early; time brought out some very nice features.

Inky purple in the glass. Dark fruit on the nose. Vegetal, slightly peppery finish. Weak mid palate and finish.

Color: purple, thick. Nose: dark fruit, cedar. Taste: tart dark fruit. Still very tannic, very young. Im not sure it has the fruit to survive. Decent, but not great.
