My wife’s favorite Sauv Blanc, but based on the last 2 bottles over the past 2 weeks, the 2019s best years are behind it. This is maybe better served as a cooking wine at this point

This is the wife’s favorite wine so we buy 6-12 each season, and fell a little behind so have several 2019 left. Opened one on the patio this afternoon and the fruit is fading fast. It’s a good drink, but it’s a little one dimensional at this point. We’ll get through the rest of the bottles this summer, I don’t think there’s much left beyond that.

Clear color with just the faintest golden hint. Mineral nose. Stone fruits, citrus, honey and melons, with no signs of oak. Clean and smooth finish. We both really liked this.

This wine drinks a little heavier then a normal Sauvignon Blanc and almost hints at Chardonnay like. Honey crisp Apple on the palate with a balanced crisp minerality and acidity.
