Second of 2 and pretty much ibid from my note from 5 months ago. Maybe a bit better on night #1, but still better on night #2, perhaps helped by a perfect pairing with seared salmon, with some green olive-saline notes really bringing out the flavors in the fish (writing specifically here, as my usual salmon pairings are chards and pinots, but this outshone both). Young, definitely some aging potential, but hard to stay hands off SB. Below Lail’s Georgia, …

a year asleep in the cellar has been helpful with integration noted no grassy notes always a positive in my s. blanc world a sauvignon blanc for people who don't like this varietal can only be compared to Aisana for this California varietal

First of 2 ($58.99) from the big box winestore about 2 months ago. On the nose and palate, light to moderate notes of key lime and lesser notes of white melon, lemon, tart lychees and with air, some tangerine and semisweet guava, mixed ground spice, rocky minerality, dried flowers, oyster shell, and saline. Light to medium gold, light to medium bodied, light-ish legs. Medium acidity, no heat. Good+ complexity, intensity and persistence. I’ve been a bit baffled and befuddled by …

Coravin’d portions with aerator and opened within 20-30 min day 1 and 2. PnP remainder day 3 and it opened in about same time. Deep straw and medium yellow color. 👃🏻 white flowers, lemon and grapefruit rind 👅 honeysuckle, hint of tangerine and grapefruit juice, white pepper, 40 sec finish Beautifully done, I honestly believe the sauvignon blanc is the strongest in Accendo’s portfolio.

Took this to the College National Championship game party at Adam's house. It paired well with the junk food.

drank from plastic cups at Chi Cafe after an evening at the jazz showcase note to self: bring glasses next time nevertheless this wine shines without any glassy glycerine and with lengthy elegance and able to cut through the spices in the food liked by all

my favorite of the 6 whites served in this blind flight at Vinetasters negligible grassy glycerine became more complex with time along with warming up in the glass

A lovely wine that was consumed in a big group of fabulous wines tonight so got a little lost in the shuffle. Was fun to drink at the end of the night after a fantastic Friendsgiving. Cheers!!

Wow!! This is a spectacular vintage and a fantastic wine. Shared with some friends at the Ken Garff Club @ Rice-Eccles Stadium. It was complex, filled with fantastic flavor and had a long smooth big finish. We followed this with a Duckhorn Sauvignon Blanc, and there was no comparison. The Duckhorn was a disappointment in comparison.

Double Decanted for approximately 2.5 hours. Paired with baked cold water South African lobster tails and consumed out of a Grassl Mineralite stem at approximately 50 degrees. The aromas were of tree and tropical fruits with a good streak of ocean spray. The palate was of white grapefruit, sea shell and wet rock with medium(+) acidity and medium body. There is a slight creamy mouthfeel. The wine is delicious and paired well with the sweet lobster.

Crisp and clean. Bright acidity, with lemon peel, lemongrass and wet rocks. Great with fish we had this evening. Was better when a bit colder than most wines but very much looking to enjoying more of this in the summer

Spring 2022 Dream Napa Trip; 4/11/2022-4/12/2022 : probably one of the better SBs from CA that I have tasted. I could be just partial to the NZ SB offerings, but this one was better than the Eisele SB I had a few weeks ago.

Napa Trip - Trying new wines and meeting new people; 4/11/2022-4/12/2022 (Napa) : Aromas of tan/yellow pear skins and river stones. Flavors are fresh, clean yellow and white fleshed fruits, clean minerals, a nice grassiness but had a bit of extra weight that did not seem to fit.
