Tastes hot to me tonight. Much more jammy fruit, a little off balance. No quibble for the price, still good pinot, but the year tastes hot to me.

Great unpretentious Cal pinot noir. I liked the '09 better (Eric really nailed it in that vintage), the '11 is a little sweeter, a little more extracted, but still easily enjoyable. I enjoy County Line in fact more than most of his PN under his top label "Radio Coteau", save perhaps for La Neblina. You can't go wrong at the price, which makes this one of my fav' Cal PN.

The 2011 is the best vintage of this wine I've tried (have tried 09,10,11). Explosive fruit, strawberries, touch of vanilla. Really an incredible wine. Liked it better at $22 release price, but still a huge bargain at $26. Hard to find, but definitely worth the effort. Will buy more 2011 County Line!

Strawberry fields forever! Amazing purity hitting all the right points of acidity, fruit and silky and supple tannin. Clean and precise, expressive strawberry, licorice, cherry and the slightest touch of sandalwood spice and a tiny dollop of creaminess finish this off. Not for aging but to drink and enjoy now. #delectable #wine

03/31/13 - The only tasting note I scribbled down on this wine was "smokey" which probably meant I wished it wasn't so pronounced. Nothing else of value to report.
