Château de Fourques Coteaux du Languedoc

A grenache and syrah blend that was being cleared by one of my favorite French wine stores. Although the tannin's are still evident, it's dried cherries and a bit of cocoa layered over a solid mineral finish made is a wonderful wine for our Sunday roast chicken with pan fried fresh chanterelles. I'm sure this would be very nice with venison or elk.
