Sorry not detailed notes. I discovered this wine, believe it or not, at Schipol airport Amsterdam at Gall and Gall wine and liquor store. Since then it has been a go to wine whenever I'm working in Amsterdam. Consistency is the key here and what you see is what you get repeatedly. I bit more modern than Chambolle's I typically drink but so smooth and balance it makes for both a great wine to just drink and with food as …

11th Cellier Wine Fair (Hilton Athenaum Hotel) : Big in the nose, loads of sweet spices, oak frame, some barnyard funk, leather. In the palate, the wines feels tight, leathery, sweet spices, oaky, the fruit sits in the back, tight tannins, med body and finish.

Even better this time. Medium to dark ruby. Elegant and ecpressive nose, typical chambolle-musigny fruit alongside some green scents. Satiny-textured, balanced and elegant with fine length. Drinking perfectly but could hold.

Very interesting wine, if not very typical . Extrovert smoky and nutty nose - could pass for a white wine - with ground peppercorn, green peppers, violets and nice spices especially cinammon. Firm tannins and fluid texture.

The nose is reminiscent of a white Burgundy with its pronounced smoky nuttyness. Some notes of leather and coffee roast refer to a Brunello. Only some floral and spicy scents betray its true origin. So, lack of typicity here, but the wine is very good indeed, with a medium-bodied palate, soft tannins, medium to high acidity offering good balance and a long aftertaste.

Delicious mid-weight Chambolle with excellent balance. The nose has plenty of floral spice and detailed red berries. It is fine and lacy and highly perfumed in the mouth. It finished with minerally cut.

Very pretty and very Chambolle. The nose shows some sweet cherry fruit, spice, violets and mineral. It is fine and lacy in the mouth with deliciously crisp fruit and good cut to the finish.
