lighter pale ruby color. with aromas of fresh mashed strawberries, cedar forest, and spice. Flavors of black cherries, strawberry, that transition to dark chocolate mouse and espresso beans with some dried cranberry on the long finish. Delicious wine, lots of teeth left - good acidity, good tannins that are not quit fully softened, plenty of fruit flavor to hold up. won't touch the next for a couple years.

Første besøg var i min optik 92/93 point. Men andet besøg kan ikke svinge sig op til mere end 90. Næsen var desværre ikke specielt chamerende. Brett? Eller bare lidt eddike, overristede solsikkeolie eller? I munden er vin til gengæld fremragende. Jordbær, lyse kirsebær, lidt ribs, lakrids, støv og røde roser. God lang eftersmag. Fint alternativt til standard Barolo.

Consistent with previous bottles. Just bursting with red cherry flavor. Fresh and floral for a 7 year old wine. Delicious to just sit and sip on and fantastic QPR.

Popped and poured. Light ruby color with great clarity. Nose of red cherry, licorice, spice cake, florals and dried red fruits. Very pretty. Similar flavors on the palate with a mix of dried and fresh red fruits. Juicy yet dry with medium+ to high acid, medium+ tannins and body. Moderate to good length on the finish although a touch of heat comes through. Very nice wine overall and strong QPR.

just a quick note to remind myself that I really liked this. A bit lighter than Vallana Boca, but no less profound.

Degustato alla cieca. Rubino traslucido, invitante e aggraziato.
