Costers del Priorat, Priorat, Clos Cypres

Picked this up at a liquor store for $30 a year and a half ago, and it is absolutely shining. Brick red fading to tawny upon pouring. On the nose: dried fig, black walnut, blackberry pie, clove, cigar box, and stewed strawberry. On the palate: medium+ intensity, medium tannins, medium acid, high alcohol, dark cherry, licorice, cinnamon bark, baking spice. Tannins are still ripping after taking a few sips, would go well with a tender steak.
