R.e., the Cellar Select Now that it has cellared a half dozen years, this ruby colored pinot with good legs yields some nice qualities. Its sour cherry and barnyard earthy flavors are pleasing to the palate thus inclined. On the other hand, it lacks the silky texture that great Willamette Valley pinots exhibit, and the nuanced flavors one might expect from Andreas Wetzel. Still, very drinkable when paired with a good burger or pasta and red sauce.

Can't say that I could identify this as Pinot in any way. Dill pickle, some fruit in there somewhere. But hell, its only $14.99.

Spicy cranberry fruit. Actually, quite nice for around $15. Taste a bit plastic on the palate but what can you do? Probably a touch of RS to round it out.

Touch soapy or mushroomy. Band aid on the nose. Touch of artificial sweetness on the palate. Overall works at $14.
