Might have been either slightly burnt or slight corked - couldn't tell. Dark fruit and hint of bell pepper still there, but a slight whiff of taint, thus no score.

Intense, layered nose of dark fruits, rosemary, dry leaves and campfire. Bold and juicy on the palate with medium tannins. This showed well the first day, less impressive on the second day. 90-ish.

Agree with Aero. Somewhat harsh on the palate, stewed prunes on the nose. Run of the mill cab; not something I would seek out again. Particularly at the price. I cellared this for 8 years at 55 degrees. Cork was perfect but the wine did not impress.

Blue fruit on the nose, with some cinnamon. Entry is a repeat of the nose. Tannins are soft and velvety. Complex throughout but finish becomes shallow. Drink now!

Pleasant nose, fairly big cab but not opulent. Malbec and petite verdot in the blend. Spiced, green peppers, starting to develop earthy tones. Run of the mill cab, enjoyable enough but not something I would seek out. Particularly at the price.

Great structure - velvety with balanced tannins. Vanilla, blackberry, very subtle clove. Paired well with rib eye, recommend decanting for one hour at least, began opening up nicely at that point. Very pleased overall with this bottle.

This bottle was all coconut and vanilla. The wood treatment had pretty much obliterated the fruit. Not sure whether the fruit can outlast the wood. My guess is probably not.

Fairly classic, nose of black fruit, oak, some spice, cassis. Palate somewhat singular or linear, blackberry/blueberry streak with tannins taking over next. Some pepper or clove in there, maybe graphite. What's there is tasty, but could use more complexity or time. Feels like it's about $10-15 too much, but hey that's Napa.
