Medium intensity aromas of cherries, hazelnuts, green olives, blackberries, and blueberries. High alcohol and acidity, with medium tannins and medium(+) body. Flavors of cherries, blackberries, and blueberries are complimented by hints of cocoa — a vanilla note comes in after about 45 minutes. This is a lovely wine and was a perfect compliment lamb meatballs.

OMG, this is good! Definite cherry aspect of mourvedre without being overwhelming; good acid balance, richness, depth, length of finish. Leighton has a nice light touch on this blend that really pleases.

Where's the gratitude for The Gratitude people????? 45 minutes in glass. V - Clear, pale ruby with medium meniscus and high viscosity N - Rasperry, cherry, both red and black currant (a first for me), Anise, garrigue/dark green herbs and a bit of smoke. Aired 30 minutes. No sediment. Eye: Medium to light ruby. Nose: Rose petals, orange blossom water, toast. Cherry, spice, earth, menthol. Palate: Super soft texture. Low tannin, light-medium acidity. Cherry, earth, tons of rose. Faint green note. Little touch of cooking spice, salmiakki. Finish: Medium length. Lightly drying. Some cherry, spice, and faint umami. Overall: Undeniably well made, but not exactly to my personal taste.

Punch line: Just couldn’t get into this wine, especially for the price. Love GSMs, love the Olsen Vineyard, and Washington. Tried over two days, and it was not overly enjoyable. It’s a one-off so I’ll allow for btl variance.

Nice and fruity, shifting towards floral on the finish. Medium-light body, on the acidic side (but more juicy than tart), with enough tannin to hold it together. I'd love to revisit this in a few years and see what it does.

Nose of roses, light cherry, and sawdust. Black cherry, cherry compote, and a salumi note are followed by note of crisp acidity with stony soils and light white pepper. Young tannins show some heft, but the acidity cuts through and adds freshness, adding blood orange, citrus notes, and sweet cherry juice before a finale of aged oak. A very enjoyable wine! A MSG wine rich with raspberry, pepper, exotic spices (patchouli, maybe, cloves), garrigue and smoke. Silky smooth, with sweet tannins and good heft, this is a wine to enjoy now. Interestingly, I left some for a second day taste and I liked it better on day one. It lost fruit and was less interesting, although still solid, on day 2.
