Very good bottle. Didn't have the meatiness or power of other vintages, but what great balance and finesse. Red fruits, minerals, and fresh acidity.

Good dense colour coming towards a more mature dark brick red. Licorice, dark sweet cherries, sour iron and granite/flint on the nose. Full bodied wine, but quite elegant, with rather smooth tannins for a Hermitage. Still lots of fruit, but also a more mature taste. Iron and a granitic minerality in the dry finish. The wine is very nice now, but I doubt there is enough stuffing in this one for long time cellaring. Drink now-2015
