Wow, at the price, this is smelling like something way more expensive. Palate is all there as well.

Janúarsmakk Eðalklúbbsins 2025 (Marbakkabraut 12) : Meðaldökkur litur. Þyngri ilmur en af Fagus víninu. Leysiefni, gulur UHU, kaffi og vanilla. Mjög fágaður ilmur. Á tungu: Mikill ávöxtur, mætti vera meiri sýra. Vantar aðeins upp á jafnvægið. Við ákváðum svo að prófa cab. sauv. glasi. Það kom miklu betur út þannig. Meira kaffi í ilmi og jafnvægið á víninu var miklu betra.

Surprisingly bold and tannic, needed a bit of air to open properly. Good amount of acidity to go with as well. Bit of a blend of red and black berries, smoke and leather. Oaky edges. No rush to drink these yet
