Very fine, pure, a very different wine than many other Sangiovese. Reminds me of a Pinot. While I usually love such a purity, it doesn't deliver in this case here and stays a bit one dimensional. Some cherry and floral notes, but rather short lived on the palate. Questionable QPR.

Transparent and light red color. Pure and lovely sangiovese aromas with almonds, cherry and some oak. Light, soft and intense on the palate.

13.5% vol. Similar pale appearance to the other wines in the range. Some stalky/musk-like notes here, still very pure and cherry-lead. A touch more savoury, but there is also a sense of honey, which gives it a perfumed lift. Broad, and subtle and mouth-filling; sweet cherry and rich Burgundian flavours and texture.

Chicago Italian Lovers round 9- 99 Brunellos for the first anniversary of the group (Vinci, Chicago) : This was sadly corked. It wasn't too blatant, but there was the corkiness to it with there being some red fruits, red cherries, and herbs underneath the taint.

This is in a very nice place...will probably drink my last bottle sooner rather than later. Sexy, perfumed nose--classic Sangiovese! Lots of dried cherry fruit with a nice earthy/leathery component to the finish.
