Light-medium golden yellow in color. Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, lemons/limes & pears with overtones of honeysuckle, minerals, some butter notes & hints of oak/vanilla. Medium-light bodied with a good concentration of balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of apples, lemons/limes & pear with minerals, spices, buttery & a hint of oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & appears to be made for mid to near term enjoyment.

Solid bottling from Laird on this cooler-climate Chard, showing nice tropical flavors, coupled with balancing acidity and a good dose of minerality. Pleasantly, not dominated by vanilla, caramel or oak, and more like a Chablis in a warm vintage. Quite nice, clean and crisp yet with appropriate fruit to enjoy.
