Méthode Sauvage Syrah Iruai Blood and Flowers

Day 1 - vivid pastel red-purple color with some transparency. Nose - raspberry, strawberry (both fresh and cooked, very intense), lavender incense, with a touch of red potato skin earthiness. Medium-high acidity and low tannin in the mouth. Rather light body (13% abv but feels even lighter), but very fragrant, fresh, and juicy. Tastes like somewhere between Beaujolais and Ventoux.
